Partial Hair Highlights are often more subtle, but also can be made to pop! Partial highlights are only in sections, usually placed around the face to give off a brighter, face-framing look. At the same time, hair color options and visual effects are almost limitless.
Partial Highlighting is a process where we separate strands of hair that will be highlighted from remaining strands of hair that are either darkened or kept the current hair color. The hair strands to be partially highlighted are then treated with a select color pigment that is then applied using a small stylist brush. The hair is then folded in foil to protect the uncolored hair area during color processing.
